We usually don’t visit Expo ’70 Commemorative Park nor Suita city itself, but we had business to do so we thought it was the best occasion to visit Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. By the way, as Expo ’70 Commemorative park is one of the hundred cherry sites, it is famous for its beautiful cherry trees.

Since it is a ten minute train ride from our company’s nearest station Mitejima (JR Tozai line) to Osaka-Tenmangu, the nearest station from the minting bureau, we decided to visit the minting bureau again at the evening. This is where our night discovery begins.

We stumbled upon an opportunity to visit an event held at the Osaka Minting Bureau. The concept of this event is to enjoy being surrounded by a crowd of pink petals embracing you with hospitality. The event was held from April 9th to the 15th this year. Here is the day view.
