This time, we have Ramen Place- Yodogawa Base, which opened on June, 2016. It’s a two minute walk from JR Tsukamoto Station. Just like the name, the sign looks like a base from baseball!
(Side Note: We got permission for photography.)
We entered the restaurant at around 11:10 a.m., and we bought a ticket via ticket machine. At this point, there were only two people, but the number increased at 11:40 a.m.
There are five counter seats, and there are three tables which can accommodate eight people each. The environment was kind of American and it was comfortable.
Here is the menu.
If you order during lunch hours ( 11 a.m. ~ 2 p.m. ), you get a free serving of rice and smoking is banned. From dinner time ( 6 p.m. ~ ), you are allowed to smoke.
Special chicken ramen
This is chicken soup with a hint of salt. The soup was creamy and had a light color and taste. The noodle was a bit thin and straight. The cloud ear was awesome and the roasted pork tasted great.
Special ramen
It is soy sauce flavored, but the taste wasn’t that thick as the chicken broth made it taste light. The taste was somehow nostalgic. The roasted pork here was also delicious.
Access
First, you walk toward Sun River Kashiwazato shopping street, which is left diagonal from Tsukamoto station West Gate.
Then, without entering the shopping street, you go forty meters left.
Here are the opening hours and the closing days.
