We usually don’t visit Expo'70 Commemorative Park nor Suita city itself, but we had business to do so we thought it was the best occasion to visit Expo'70 Commemorative Park. By the way, as Expo'70 Commemorative Park is one of the hundred cherry sites, it is famous for its beautiful cherry trees.
We started off our journey with reading the map.
To enjoy our time at the park, we first had to pay a two hundred fifty yen fee at the ticket booth. The booth was near the Japanese Garden in front of the parking area.
Then, we headed right to the Japanese Garden, and along the way, we got to see the magnificent blossoms and the Tower of the Sun. The Tower of the Sun is an icon for Exp'70 Commemorative Park.
In order to enter the Japanese Garden, we showed the ticket to the staff. By the way, the ticket is very important for multipurpose reasons, so it’s crucial not to discard it.
When we had a rest in the middle of the garden ,we felt the garden expanding before us.
After our time at the garden, we headed south for the Tower of the Sun.
The brilliant cherry trees were dancing behind the Tower of the Sun.
The Tower of the Sun is seventy meters high, and the cherry trees are just tiny angels surrounding the Tower.
The tower was so high, it could almost hit space!
We also got to see “The Cherry Wonderland” that is at the west side of the National Tribal Museum.
Not only the cherry trees, but the tulips were a good match with the Tower of the Sun.
Behind the Tower of the Sun stands few cherry trees and “The Big Roof” that brings us back fifty years ago.
Thanks for reading!
