This year’s cherry trees bloomed earlier than average, and we have a long spell of sunny days.
Last year, we have guided you Ohno River promenade (Ryokuin Road) for cherry sites. This year, we will show you around many parks that are beautiful as cherry sites besides Ryokuin Road.
There are lots of parks around Nishiyodogawa Ward considering it’s an industrial area.
In total, there are twenty five parks, and this time we are going to focus on twelve of them on the southwestern area.
Examples are southern Ohwada, Dekijima, Himejima, Fuku, Ohno, and Nakajima.
#14 Ohwada Central Park
#15 Ohwada River Park
Here are the cherry trees surrounding the park. There is a fence between the trees and the sidewalk. Don’t miss it!
#16 North Himejima Park
This park is the smallest of the twenty five, but the cherry trees welcomes you with warmth.
#17 Himejima Park
The cherry trees stand boldly inside the park and there’s no need to worry about pedestrians or cars passing through.
#18 West Himejima Park
#19 Himejimahama Park
#20 South Himejima Park
#21 Ohno Seseragi No Sato Park
This is more of a garden than a park. Since this park is a strictly supervised area, there are days and hours when it’s closed.
#22 Fukumachi Park
Lots of cherry trees line up at the promenade which is next to the park. The view is spectacular here!
#23 Fukumachi West Park
