Typhoon 21 had crossed the Kinki region and caused massive damage. Nishiyodogawa Ward, where our company is, had a power outage and had lots of buildings destructed.
Our company recovered from the power outage on the day after the typhoon, which is September 5th. On the same day, the Izumiya Marketplace Fukumachi, which is at our same block, made its recovery as well. As a result, Izumiya is now operating. Sugi Pharmacy Fukumachi has also recovered, and Seven- Eleven Fukumachi 3- chome will operate on the 7th.

There were many cars blown at the parking lot next to our company.
Here is Ohno River Promenade. Many trees had collapsed and the ground had slided downward.
This is Kansai Supermarket in Ohwada District. Most of Ohwada went through the power outage until two days later. Recovery has been taking place since the 6th.
The neon panel of a gambling center in Ohwada is about to fall down.
Over at Ohno District, there seems to be an iron object hanging on a power cable.
The signboard at the parking lot was also collapsed at Ohno.
Also, there were two electric poles leaning at Ohno.
The aftermath at Dekijima District was intense as well.
At Dekijima, a road reflector was toppled over.
On the other hand, at Tsukuda Distict, a roof of a factory was blown away.
A panel and ticket machine were knocked down, too.
Let’s see what happened at Hyakushima District. Since Hyakushima is near the ocean, the guard railings might have had severe impact from the especially strong winds.

On the afternoon of September 6th, our company and our houses recovered just fine. However, there were many houses and facilities that were still down.
Nishiyodogawa Ward Hall was open, we could charge our cell phones, and there were a few places where vending machines were operating so that you can buy cold drinks.
