Shiba Inu's Amo-san’s First Birthday!

As seen from the title, April 13th is Amo-san’s first birthday!! Happy Birthday Amo-san!

In this article, we will post pictures of how much he has grown. Please take a look!

On April 13th, 2016, Amo-san was born between a black Shiba father and a red Shiba mother, which both of them were raised by a breeder. That’s why the tip of his tail and his back is black. His face resembles his mother.

Baby Shiba inu’s fur are usually brown, but when they mature, the hue changes. Amo-san has changed his fur color as well.

May 31st was when we met Amo-san.
This picture is taken in a car when we picked him up. He being forty seven days old, he still looks innocent. This is when our life with him all started.

On June 4th, we took him on a walk with a dog buggy.
Since he didn’t go through his third immunization, we had to use the buggy, and he had to wait until he could walk on his own.

This is Amo-san with his toy giraffe on early June.
He was the same size as the toy. However, this next picture indicates that Amo-san got bigger!

This is late June with his comfortable position.
He does this when he’s either daydreaming or he’s being sulky.

This is Amo-san using his toy as his pillow on mid-July.
He was three months old, and he’s got even larger!

Early August was when he fit into the bike basket.
He used to love bike rides, but if we were to talk about nowadays, there is no way that he can fit in.

Again on early August, Amo-san is sleeping in quite a position!
There were times that we were using his toilet case as his bed.

Early September, and this position again.

On late September, Amo-san was relaxing on a chair during noon break.
We set the chair up at our parking area so he can take a break there. He was fascinated by all the pedestrians before him.

Again, this is on late September, and it was Amo-san’s first time at the beach. We walked slowly along the waves.

This is a picture of Amo-san biting on his stick. The stick got damaged in this year.

Here is Amo-san sleeping in his plushy bed on late December. When he’s in our workshop, he’s usually sleeping here.

In this picture right here, it was early February of 2017 and Amo-san is pleading for something.
When he’s either bored or hungry, he dabs his nose repeatedly.

Here we are, April the 13th! His very first birthday! We bought him a roll cake for dogs.

When we said, “Wait!”, he does as he’s told. However, when we said, “Go!”…

he was confused at his first cake by doing the “Huh?” face.

Then, he steadily approaches and start smelling the cake.

He started licking and eating the cake and he liked the cream. We’re glad that he liked the cake.

Amo-san’s very first birthday was a comfortable weather, and he felt good after a walk.
