Amo-san in Hokuriku

Jun. 21, 2019 File No.67

This will be our very first article after the new era, Reiwa. So, we decided to take Amo-san to the Hokuriku Region. It was a four hundred kilometers journey, and it’s the longest trip in Amo-san’s whole entire life.

We first visited the Firefly Squid Museum.

After the museum, we went to the bank of Toyama Gulf.

Amo-san seems to be heartthrobbed by the Kirarin boat.

We also enjoyed our time at Ohiwasan Nissekiji, located at Ohiwa, Kamiichi, Nakaniigawa County, Toyama. There are lots of noodle restaurants nearby because Ohiwa is known for its somen noodles. Also, you can enjoy hiking at Mount Tsurugi, the hardest mountain to climb in Japan.

The Falls of the Twelve Zodiacs is also one magnificent view you can’t miss.

Amo-san especially enjoyed the Six Falls.

The Meoto Iwa was full with dignity.

Behind Amo-san is a little cave called Akakukutsu.

We also got to visit Kanazawa Castle.

The remains of Kanazawa Castle take us back in time.

Amo-san really is lucky to be doted on lots of statues, such as Kyouka Izumi, Shusei Tokuda, and Saisei Murou.

We finished our journey with Tokumitsu Coast in Ishikawa at evening. Tokumitsu Coast can be reached on foot from both of the Hokuriku Expressway’s Tokumitsu Drive-in up and down.
