The New Year’s With Shiba Inu's Amo-san

Jan. 07, 2017 File No. 6

Happy New Year, everyone! Greetings to you all! We will keep posting new articles as we did last year, so please check it out!

For the New Year’s beginning, we went praying at a shrine with Amo-san. The shrine is in the same Fukamachi, Nishiyodogawa Ward as our company, called Sumiyoshi Shrine, and the shrine is three hundred fifty years old. The shrine is also known as Fukusumiyoshi as it’s in Fukumachi ( formerly Fukumura ).

We had Amo-san in a hakama, and look how beautiful he is! When we were walking towards the shrine, passers-by smiled at Amo-san in his hakama, and he was all happy wagging his tail.

Worship

We threw the coins in the wishing box on behalf of Amo-san and gave thanks and wished for prosperity to God.

To throw the coins in the wishing box.

After our pray, Amo-san was into his new toy ( he loves toys that squeak when he bites on it ).
Because he became so obsessed with the toy, we took off his hakama and having him return to his regular self, and he played with and squeaked the toy as he pleased.
